Always on the look out for unusual, inspirational and exciting new pieces, Simon Shuck of Manchester based Inspired By Design has just introduced a stunning new line of glass sinks to his product range. With three examples shown here, they are all truly stunning, incorporating beautiful patterns and colours.
Among the amazing shapes available is a flat sink (shown). When in use the water runs away via a small discrete channel located towards the rear. A real statement piece, it is perfect for making a big impression both in private residences and in hotels. The sinks are created by a glass artist using a technique that he has developed with a process of adjusting the heat and materials rather than applying the colours.
Inspiration for the colours is taken from the surroundings, from nature and from the seasons and is reflected in the warm colours of the glass and its vibrant texture. Furthermore they are able to create completely bespoke shapes, sizes and colours subject to manufacturing constraints.
